Sault Ste Marie Lock Tours on the waterfront

There is lots to see and do around Sault Ste Marie, both on the Ontario side and the Michigan side of the St Mary's River. Take a tour of the city's shoreline, either from land or by boat. You can visit a museums, lots of parks and waterfront greenspace, and activities and sports to keep anybody busy (and happy). There are a lot of attractions in the countryside around Sault Ste Marie. You can head north on the Trans-Canada Highway (or take the train!) and visit the scenic Agawa Canyon in Lake Superior Provincial Park, a favourite of the Group of Seven artists. Or you can head south into Michigan; and explore its Upper Peninsula, nestled between Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. Or you can head east to enjoy pretty St Joseph's Island (shown) or even futher east along the North Channel of Lake Huron to Manitoulin Island.
