That's right! White River is the birthplace of Winnie the Pooh. The bear was left at the London Zoo while its owner, Captain Colbourn, and his regiment was shipped into battle in France during World War One. Go see the 25 foot statue of Pooh and join in the annual Winnie's Hometown Festival in late August.
