Searchmont is small mountain community of 300 inhabitants. Located among some of the most beautiful
scenery in central North America. For the past 100 years the valleys and mountains
have been resounding the whistle of the Algoma Central Railway.
Visit Goulais River (now a Provincial Waterway Park) and see the shear three hundred foot rock escarpments.
There many rivers to travel, hidden lakes to discover and trails to hike.

This mountain features a 700 ft vertical, with the longest snowboard park in the Midwest, 18 runs(up to a mile long), 50 km of nordic trails, snow shoe trails and a tubing park. Very cozy chalets with Fireplace, Sauna and outdoor whirlpool.
